TOPIC : GET WORK TO DO
BIBLE REFERNCE : GENESIS 2:15-17
THE MESSAGE
Work is an integral part of human existence . As soon as Adam was created, God crafted work for him to do. He made that clear from the beginning of creation when HE placed Adam the first man in the garden of Eden to “ dress it and keep it. ” From here we can deduce that God desires that man should work rather than live an idle life.
Today, many people take short cut to get wealth in haste but not considering the end effects. Many live a life of deception, corruption and manipulation. You maybe thinking probably that these people are ahead of you but no they are not. They are just a running like a shadow that will soon disappear when you appear. God inniated work for man to make him happy and to contribute positively to the society. Epistle Paul said , “ if any would not work , neither should he eat.” [ 2 Thessalonians 3:10]
Do not despise small opportunities though, for your small business today can become a conglomerate tomorrow. Howbeit do not make your work an idol. Avoid laziness and shun mediocrity. Always work and pray.

Here we are going to be making use of four different Bible Versions: KJV , ESV , NIV AND AMP. Try to strike out their differences and presentation:
GENESIS 2: 15-17
15KJV:And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
ESV:The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.
NIV:The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it.
AMP:And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.
16KJV:And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
ESV:And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “You may surely eat of every tree of the garden,
NIV:And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden;
AMP:And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
17KJV:But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
ESV:but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.”
NIV:but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
AMP:But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.

ME TO YOU
It is time for you to give your life to Jesus Christ. If you have not done so, please do that now. Here comes 4 steps to your salvation : [1] Admit that you are a sinner { Read Romans 3:23, 6:23] }. Firstly identify yourself as a sinner [2] Truthfully repent from your sin. { Read [ 1 John 1:9, Acts 3:19 ] }. No matter the weight of your sin , God is ready to forgive you [3] Believe that God loves you. { Read [ Romans 5:8 ] } God loves you more than you think. Kindly and humbly recognise this fact. [4] Invite Jesus Christ into your heart through sincere prayer of faith. {Read [Revelation 3: 20 ] } God wants you to you declare your sincerity verbally.
