Never let success get to you head, never let failure get to your heart! True humility and fear of the Lord LEAD to riches, honor, and long life. Proverbs 22:4! Be kind. For everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about! Just because you found God doesn't mean you should stop seeking Him! It's amazing to wake up and realize that God has given us another chance to make it right! God wants us to focus on Him and not the storm! Don't be afraid to fail. Be afraid not to try! Faith isn’t just wishful thinking; it’s confidence in knowing God is faithful! You may have weaknesses, but God has strength. You may have sin, but God has grace. You may fail, but God remains faithful!

John 3:3-4 says, “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?”
Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, came and spoke to Jesus of the miracles that Jesus does. Jesus tells him that he must be born again. Jesus was focused on a spiritual birth. Nicodemus was thinking in terms of the physical birth. To be born of the Spirit, you must accept Christ and obey Him; He then bestows the Holy Spirit upon you. The Spirit leads and guides you on the right path of God. He changes your direction and guides you in the direction that God wants you to go on for His purpose.

Psalms 37:4 says "Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart." God will always give you the desires of your heart. But only when it glorifies God. So guard your heart from evil by guarding your ears and your eyes from all wickedness and evil things of this world. What you see or hear, is in your mind and will enter your heart. So be on guard.

Acts 8:12,26-28 says, “But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized both men and women. And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza which is desert. And he arose and went: and,  behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, Was returning and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet."

Philip preached Jesus and the Kingdom of God to an Ethiopian eunuch when Philip arrived in Gaza where an angel of the Lord had told him to go and Philip obeyed. The Spirit moved Philip from preaching the Gospel in one place to another. Philip told the eunuch to believe with all his heart and then both he and the eunuch were baptized. God is always with you. When you focus on where God wants you to go, He will bless you abundantly. The power of God will always come through. Philip was flowing with the Spirit.

Acts 9:10-18 shows God spoke to Ananias and told him to go and find Saul who was blind. Ananias was reluctant to go, but Jesus told him that Saul was chosen of Him. Ananias went and found Saul and Paul put his hands on Saul and Saul was able to see and was baptized. Acts 10 shows where God had to tell Peter three times where Peter should go and he went to the home of Cornelius and preached the Gospel to Cornelius as the Spirit had led him to do. While Peter was preaching to Cornelius, all those who heard, received the Holy Spirit and they were baptized. God always leads you where He wants you to go. You must listen and obey. God moves you at the right time to the right people.

“For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened” (Luke 11:10). The news caused some excitement in some quarters and anxiety in others when some years ago, medical authorities of a specialist hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, United States, randomly selected 990 heart patients from their Coronary Care Unit and divided them into two groups. The aim was to find out whether or not it could be proved scientifically that prayers works. The names of patients belonging to the first group with little or no medical attention were sent to Christian intercessory groups to be prayed for, while the second group were given intensive medical care without prayer treatment.

The outcome of the scientific experiment slated to last four weeks surprised the cynical researchers. A medical check-up conducted after the experiment showed that the patients belonging to the group that were given little medical care but intensive prayer treatment recovered faster than the patients given only intensive medical care but no prayer treatment.

The disciples had been with Jesus and noticed that He placed importance on prayers. They decided that they needed to learn to pray and asked the Lord to teach them how to pray. Jesus gave a model prayer, which is referred to as the Lord’s Prayer. He further explained the reason and effectiveness of prayer using the need of an importunate friend at midnight.

Many Christians pray, yet they remain disappointed as a result of unanswered prayers. The major reasons are sin (secret and unconfessed) and unbelief. To fully enjoy the power and possibilities of prayer, you need to get rid of all sins and manifest faith when you pray that God will fulfil His promises.

“Anyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved” (Romans 10:13 TLB).Are you at a place in your life where you need to be rescued? Are you ready to call out for help? It doesn’t take a special phone or a bat-signal. All you have to do is ask and Jesus will rescue you. You can ask him to rescue you in any area of your life: a relationship, a financial situation, a health issue, anything. But you have to ask.

In Psalm 91:15, God says, “When they call on me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them” (NLT). That’s not just talk, because God doesn’t lie. It would be contrary to his character because he is total truth.

Notice that God says you have to do your part and then he’ll do his part. You call, he answers. That’s it. Just call on the name of the Lord. And the name of the Lord is Jesus.

It’s vital to understand that in any rescue operation, the rescuer gets to determine the means and method of the rescue. You don’t get to determine how you are saved. It’s not up to you; it’s up to your Savior. And Jesus says, “I am the way . . . No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6 NIV).
