Julen Lopetegui takes the appointment of Sevilla new coach. The appointment has been clearly confirmed by Sevilla for a three year deal.
Julen Lopetegui takes over from Joaquín Caparrós who was diaognosed with chronic leukemia. Lopetegui is expected to take a directorial role at the club.
Not that alone, Julen Lopetegui has worked previously with Spain and Real Madrid boss.
Consequently, Lopetegui has been out of work since he was sacked by Real Madrid last October after just ten league matches in charge of the club.
However, Lopetegui has joined Sevilla football club on a three year deal.
