We thank You for another blessed day through JESUS CHRIST. Teach us Your ways we pray. Open the eyes of our heart to understand more of Your word. Unblock our ears to Your gentle voice and open our eyes to see JESUS in all that we say and do. Thank You Father that CHRIST is both the power of GOD and the wisdom of GOD.

Thank You that throughout our lives You have provided for us in so many ways, we pray that You will continue to provide & protect us as we seek You before anything or anyone. Keep us from worry and may our eyes be upon You.

Help us LORD not to be so worried. Help us to fix our mind on You rather than the concerns of life. Help us to trust You in ALL the difficulties & carry us on Your shoulders  for we are looking to You. Enable us in the power of Your Holy Spirit to allow Your strength to be made perfect in our weakness knowing that the Holy Spirit Who dwells in us is greater that all the combined worries, anxieties, fear & problems that we have, put together.

Here comes the selected daily devotionals for today:

[1] HOW TO RESPOND TO GOD'S PROMISES:-
There are times when you will be attacked  by the enemy. So it is important to know how to respond in these situations by using the Word of God. Joseph and Daniel are good examples. They didn't do anything wrong. Joseph was attacked by his brothers and Daniel was thrown into the Lion's Den, but they kept their faith in God and they prayed and responded by using the Word of God. 2 Peter 1:3; "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:"God has already provided everything we need to sustain our lives.

2 Timothy 3:12; "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution."Everyone who is a Christian, will suffer persecution. Respond to persecution with the Word of God. Luke 10:19; "Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you."
Many times your body  is attacked with pain and illness. You have authority and power to rid yourself of these ailments in Jesus Name. You have the power to overcome the sickness, disease and poverty. If you see someone with sickness or disease, lay your hands upon them and heal them. You have the authority and power to do so in Jesus Name. (Matthew 10:1,8).  Joshua 1:8; "This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success."

You must meditate on the Word day and night. You will then be prosperous and successful. Cover your situation with the Word of God. Put God above material possessions, money, sports events and anything that would take your focus from God. Always put God first. Galatians 5:6; "For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love."
Faith comes through love. We must love one another as Jesus loves us. Many people will hate you, but do the right thing according to God's Word. We live in the world but we are not of the world. Romans 5:2; "By whom also we have access by faith into his grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God."
You have access to the Word of God, the power of God and the love of God. When God created you, you received His DNA. Love comes natural to sister. Men must be taught how to love. No matter what your wife says or does, you must still love her.
Hebrews 10:36; "For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."You must be patient. Whatever God has promised you, He will fulfill that promise and answer your prayers.

Hebrews 6:12; "That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises."God doesn't want you to be slothful (lazy). Through faith and patience, you shall receive the promises of God. This scripture is good in telling you how to respond to God's promises. You respond by faith. Your faith will be on trial many times but continue in patience. If you have the Word of God in your heart, it will be easy to be patient and also forebearing and longsuffering. If Jesus is within you, you will have the Word of God in your heart and on your tongue because Jesus is the Word. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7, NIV)

[2] It's About the Way You Finish
So often, when people make mistakes, they get down on themselves and think, “If only...” “I should have...” “What if...?” It’s easy to feel like you’ve missed the best plan for your life. That’s when people get discouraged and stop pursuing their God-given dreams. But understand today, just because you’ve made a mistake or failed in some way doesn’t cancel God’s plan. God never disqualifies you. He never says, “Go sit on the sidelines. You’ve blown it too many times. You’ve got too many weaknesses.” No, God always gives you another chance!

Some of the great people in the Bible made very poor choices. The apostle Paul started off as a murderer, yet his destiny was bigger than his mistakes. He ended up becoming a great leader and writing over half of the New Testament.

What am I saying? Our mistakes, our failures, our poor choices don’t have to keep us from our God-given destiny. With God, it’s not about the way you start in life, it’s about the way you finish. Receive His grace today and embrace the bright future He has in store for you!

Prayer
“Father, thank You for Your grace and mercy to me. I trust that my days are ordered of You. I ask that You strengthen and empower me to fulfill Your call on my life. I love You and bless You today in Jesus’ name. Amen.”

[3] YOU’RE THE LORD’S SHEEP
John 10:27 NIV “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” Back when I was in school, one of the things that helped me greatly was the ability to hear God and do what He told me to do. I had such a rich fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Though I was a student and, as such, had a lot of studying to do, I consistently did what the Lord instructed me to do. The secret to success in life is hearing God and acting accordingly. When you yield yourself to Him, your journey in life can only be in one direction: upward and forward.

You must learn to respond to God’s Word the right way and promptly too! The Lord Jesus said in John 10:27, “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” The key word is “hear.” The Lord’s sheep “hear” His voice. Jesus had said in the preceding verse, “But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, as I said to you” (John 10:26). In other words, those who don’t believe the gospel don’t believe because even when they listen, they don’t really hear. But you don’t have any problem hearing His voice because you’re His sheep; He is your Shepherd.

For you to hear someone, you must be well acquainted with the person’s voice as a result of the time you spend together. Likewise, you become proficient in hearing God’s voice through constant fellowship with Him. Now, about people who hear His voice, Jesus said, “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand” (John 10:28).

The Lord Jesus says He’ll give eternal life to those who hear His voice and follow Him. He, however, didn’t stop there. He also lets us know how committed God the Father is to those who hear Him. See how protective of you God is when you hear Him. That’s why He always wants you to hear His voice!
Matthew 13:14 -And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:  :15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.  :16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them. Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. :21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. :22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

PRAY
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving me a hearing ear to hear your voice and an understanding heart to receive and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you for keeping me in the land of your favour. Therefore, I live a life of success and excellence through your Word, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

[5] SECOND CHANCE (I)
Read: Romans 3:10-18
MEMORISE: As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God. (Romans 3:10-11)

EXPOSITION
Our loving Father is the God of second chance. His grace is so extensive that He offers countless opportunities to hear the gospel and receive His Son Jesus Christ as Saviour. What is more, He reaches into the muck of humanity's sinful nature, rebellious spirit, perversity, and unclean language in order to save His beloved creature.

If you think that the Lord takes second chances lightly, read today's passage carefully it is a look at humanity through divine eyes. On our own, no matter how much we try to be good, we are foolish, useless, and evil. Thankfully, God's grace is immeasurably greater than our sins.

Of course, the heavenly Father is a righteous judge who cannot ignore transgressions. If He did, He would not be the holy and just deity described in the Scriptures. While humanity might count passivity as kindness, the Lord considers grace as an action word. As a result, He implemented a simple rescue plan for each person on earth: Whoever believes in Jesus Christ as Saviour is forgiven. We are justified by faith and at peace with God (Romans 5:1). The rebellious war we carried out against Him is over. Sins are washed off our hearts. In fact, from God's perspective, His children look as if they have never done wrong.

Jesus is our second chance. Apart from Him, there is no salvation, no justification, and no grace. Look again at the passage from Romans 3. It is not possible to clean up one's own heart each man or woman must take advantage of the purity Christ purchased with His sacrifice on the cross. As you meditate on this message this morning, have you given your life to Jesus? If yes, continue with Him without fail. If no, today is your second chance, do not let it go in vain.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Ask God to forgive your past misdeeds and abuse of the opportunities He has given you in the past.
2.    Lord, grant me the immeasurable grace to live the godly life You expect of me.
3.    Lord, help straying believers to repent and return to the fold, like the prodigal son.
